We are seeking a hands-on and proactive IT Operation Expert to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across both office and production environments. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, ready to support end users and maintain robust infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for software and hardware issues in office and production settings.
- Respond to service desk tickets and provide first-level support for production systems.
- Offer end-user support for Microsoft Office applications.
- Support production floor equipment including scanners, printers, and Windows CE devices.
- Provide technical assistance for Android and Apple mobile devices.
- Deploy and troubleshoot IT equipment, including user training as needed.
- Maintain and support local infrastructure including servers and network systems.
- Plan, execute, and document IT environment changes to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Proactively monitor IT systems for performance, availability, and critical events.
- Manage IT asset inventory and maintain accurate equipment databases.
- Create and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Act as the primary contact of Local Business and Global IT for Shop Floor App concerns
- Collaborate closely with the IT OPS Team in AMERICAS and other global IT CoE areas.
- Ensure IT compliance with company standards and policies.
- Partner with the Cybersecurity team to implement best practices and safeguard systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with Shop Flor Apps (e.g. MES)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of network standards, design, and support.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (ITCockpit preferred).
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred).
- Knowledge of change management, Agile methodology, and Kanban tools.
- Experience in server management and virtualization operations.
- Understanding of data storage systems including SAN, NAS, and tape libraries.
- Experience with Shop Floor Apps (e.g., MES) is a plus.
- Certifications in IT best practices (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus.
