YOUR CHANCE

• Defines development targets, as well as customers' requirements and prepares the internal requirement manual (IRM)
• Documents development steps and results and presents them internally and externally
• Plans and supervises the development progress (timing) and the spending curve of the development budget
• Develops concepts and supports respective benchmarks
• Controls the feasibility and conducts design-FMEAs
• Conducts tolerance investigations and develops dimensioning concepts
• Plans and supervises prototype build, prototype tests and experiments
• Participates in the preparation of testing specifications
• Develops engineering specifications
• Supports the value analysis and develops concepts for cost reductions
• Prepares approvals according to the Milestone system
• Provides technical documents for cost estimation
• Supports the technical assessment of suppliers
• Defines technical guidelines (drw, BOM,...) for design and cost estimation
• Provides on-site support at customer location (if required)

YOUR PERSONALITY

• Secondary school or university in a technical field
• Experience of at least 3 years in development, design, production (preferably automotive)
• Experience in leading a small team is an advantage
• Independence, ability to make decisions and take responsibility
• Ability to manage the development team (design, calculations, quality), cooperation with other departments
• Analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the automotive environment is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Onedrive, Outlook, Teams
• Good orientation in drawings, knowledge of tolerances
• Basic orientation in CAE methods (finite element method, linear and nonlinear analysis) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of CAD Catia is an advantage
• Theoretical knowledge of metal welding is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German or English (B1) + good knowledge of a second language (English, German)
• Driving licence B
