Core Responsibilities:

  • Completion of Preventative Maintenance tasks, unplanned maintenance requirements, and condition monitoring of fluids of the Hydraulic, Lubrication, and Scrubber systems in the facility.
  • Implementation of quality control measures to ensure high quality of work.
  • Evaluation of the performance of the mechanical equipment and development of countermeasures to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Propose potential projects that could improve efficiency and/or reduce mechanical maintenance and operating costs.
  • Ensures compliance with the implemented computerized maintenance management system (SAP).
  • Supports the implementation of the Facility LOTO program.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable mechanical codes.
  • Working knowledge of 5S practices.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required.
  • AA/AS or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience with managing contractors for plant improvement projects and shut down activities.
  • 3-5 years experience with industrial Hydraulics, Lubrication, and pumps with some formal education (e.g., 2-year technical Degree). Also, background with Motors, Pumps, Pipefitting, Filtration, and equipment removal and installation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with personnel of all levels.
  • Ability to function effectively within a matrix organization.
