Core Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate multi-modal daily inbound and outbound transportation activities for bundle and threaded pipe as well as other materials as requested.
• Schedule and tender inbound and outbound transportation based on approved vetted Benteler transportation providers.
• Provide daily report to leadership regarding inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with IT to address and resolve issues within SAP and work closely with management team to ensure timely problem resolution as needs arise.
• Ensure proper SAP and Bill of Lading functions in accordance with SOP.
• Drive continuous improvement through building and/or refining of SOPs and work to identify outdated, manual or redundant tasks and simplify or automate them.
• Assist the Shipping Supervisor and Logistics Manager as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping as needed in all working areas.
• Cooperate with sales department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Maintain all working areas in safe and orderly way.
• Complete any and all required training as deemed necessary by supervisor. 

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Transportation Management or like discipline – or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with safety programs and incident accountability.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Must be familiar with TMS (Transportation Management System). 
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Communicates clearly, professionally, and proactively across all levels of an organization.
