Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing processes and procedures for a green field start up manufacturing facility.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel, lodging, meals; escorting applicants to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Manage online job board postings, search engine sourcing, resume searching and researching activities in order to maximize candidate recruiting for the group. Collaborate with HR Manager and Recruiters on targeted research projects on key client assignments.
  • Develop, implement and track success of new research methods to reach prospective candidates and clients.
  • Assist HR Manager with reporting, budgeting, planning & P&L analysis as well as special projects.
  • Lead email marketing campaigns to targeted candidates and clients.
  • Present new client and candidate leads to necessary parties.
  •  Manage weekly activity reports.
  • Participate in weekly staff meeting. Provide weekly summaries for all associates.
  • Assist associates with client and candidate presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience with recruiting coordination in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in an agency recruiting environment highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be pro-active.
  • Experience staffing manufacturing, steel, and/or tube facilities.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working in a friendly team environment.
