Job Responsibilities

• Must follow all company policies and regulations to regards to both Safety and Quality.
• QA Supervisor will coordinate and control the inspections on the line as per API & IP owner’s requirements.
• Act as liaison between the assigned team members and the management.
• Enforce quality control measures to ensure product meets and/or exceeds governing specifications.
• Responsible for supervising quality personnel as well as assist with process improvement and special projects as needed.
• Supervise and Lead all threading inspectors and calibration technicians.
• Manage timesheets of QA employees.
• Follow and implement all EHS requirements.
• Responsible for implementation of QMS system.
• Ensuring accuracy and recording of necessary quality inspection data.
• Analyzing trends and building related action plans.
• Conduct appraisals at required frequency as per guidelines.
• Develop thread inspectors and perform additional trainings as necessary and take necessary steps for training and disciplinary actions.
• Perform necessary audits of the thread lines.
• Setup and ensure the execution of housekeeping programs required to ensure Quality areas cleanliness.
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• AA/AS or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Minimum 5 years in a shift supervisor role in a Threading facility.
• OCTG operations experience is preferred.
• Understanding of data acquisition systems such as IBA is preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and experience.
• Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology and process.
• Basic SAP & general computer knowledge is required.
• Basic to advanced understanding of a continuous Finishing Line Process.
• Previous pipe Finishing Line experience preferred.
• Understanding of Thread Gauging Procedures and Standard practices.
