Job Responsibilities

Optimization of processes and plant equipment                                                        

• Responsible for equipment adjustments and changes, adjusting process parameters correctly.
• Responsible for monitoring and inspecting all material before, during, and after each run.
• Responsible for TPM/5's and coordinating timely repair of equipment.
• Select and set speeds, feed rates, and appropriate parameters according to machining instructions of knowledge of metal properties.
• Verify conformance of machined work to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, or fixed telescoping gauges.
• Maintain a clean and hazardous free work environment.
• Ensuring all product produced meet quality standards.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.            
• Effectively use a computer for data entry, reporting and word processing.
• Obeying all safety rules and regulations.
• Ensuring compliance for all environmental concerns.                            
• Communicate with all team members (maintenance and production) to ensure good two-way communication on all issues.
• Ability to work various shifts.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

• Prefer knowledge of computer-operated machine operation.
• Must be able to master the skills and required knowledge, machine equipment operation, mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge and skills.
• Knowledge of compiling reports and ensuring compliance.
• Must have a team player attitude.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively use interpersonal communication skills.
