Core Responsibilities:

• Active Leader for Environmental, Health & Safety actions, and policies.
• Subject Matter Expert for all electrical systems and automation systems within the Finishing/Quench & Temper departments of the mill.
• Mentors Technicians; ability to teach and train personnel.
• Utilizes critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Participates in Root Cause Analysis meetings to determine and rectify problematic issues in the process.
• Analyzes data systems to identify opportunities for optimization and implements changes to increase productivity.
• Participates in 5S, Lean MFG, and any other continuous improvement activities.
• Active participant in developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism.
• Follows all company rules, policies, and expectations and leads by example.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required.
• AA/AS or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating industrial electrical maintenance activities.
• Strong leadership skills, (including sound judgment, aptitude for directing and motivating others, inductive and deductive reasoning abilities, problem solving skills, positive attitude, and results orientation).
• SAP Maintenance module experience.
• Seamless Pipe Mill experience preferred.
• Strong Safety Awareness and experience.
• SAP knowledge Preferred/Microsoft Office Suite Required.
• Strong understanding of automation equipment, including PLC, HMI, VFDs and industrial networks.
• In depth experience with data acquisition systems such as IBA to include configuration.
