Your tasks

• Perform routine calibration of precision measurement tools, equipment, and fixtures used in the manufacturing and development processes
• Conduct detailed dimensional inspections of components and assemblies using optical scanners, and other advanced metrology equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD data to ensure all measurements and tolerances meet design specifications
• Analyze measurement data and produce reports to ensure components conform to required standards and specifications, using statistical methods where applicable
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and quality control
• Maintain detailed records of calibration results, measurement data, and equipment performance
• Ensure all metrology equipment is compliant with internal quality control procedures Provide training and technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams on the correct use of measurement equipment and metrology practices

Your profile

• Completed technical education
• Experience in a quality or metrology role, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficiency with metrology tools such as optical scanners, CMMS, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement devices
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and the ability to interpret technical drawings
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good English and German language skills in spoken and written form

This position involves traveling to the USA for a longer stay.
