Your Opportunity 

·Matric

·Qualified Metrologist

·5-10 years experience working / leading a Metrology Team

·Previous programming experience with Metrology software – PC DMIS, Polyworks, GOM

·Experienced in MSA, Calibration, SPC

·Good communication skills

·Be able to work Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT)

Your Personality

·Creates and/or installs work instructions and procedures for the laboratory

·Ensures that measurement techniques are effectively rolled out in the plant.

·Must ensure that CMM and GOM programs are available for all components / products received or built in plant.

·Manages the integration of the GOM into the daily Metrology activities.

·Plans and organizes the necessary capacity for Metrology Area

·Ensures on time calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment

·Ensures that all measuring equipment/gauges/checking-and measuring fixtures are in good calibrated and working condition

·Coordinates daily measuring orders

·Trains staff in laboratory relevant methods

·Supports clients to define testing concept

·Ensures the required environmental conditions in the laboratory are met

·Ensures that part stability graphs for VW are up to date and according to the schedule and that the data is made available to internal teams

·Active lead team member in the weekly dimensional governance program.

·Ensures that product audits are planned and executed according to the Benteler requirements

·Support with the launch project and ECR’s in the plant

·Responsible for different shifts or leads a team of minimum 4 employees on a regular basis; promotes a respectful work environment and recruits, develops and retains human resources to maintain a qualified, motivated, and productive workforce.

·Leads by example and lives up to Benteler’s mission, values, and global leadership principles. Uses standard HR tools e.g., the appraisal process to provide regular feedback and agree upon tasks and goals with respective employees

·Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) – Enforce and follows all SHE procedures, being attentive to unsafe behaviors or conditions and taking the necessary corrective measure
