Position Detail:

• Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to other team members.
• Requirements Management: Support Component Owner with local US technical requirements for all specific local market differences.
• Vehicle Compliance: Support vehicle homologation with the National Highway Traffic Safety (NHTSA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Buy America, Altoona Test, CARB, and others. Lead the delivery of State vehicle code compliance and State autonomous vehicle permit requirements.
• Vehicle Validation: Support testing and validation initiatives to local US vehicle tests such as FTA Altoona Durability test, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other required local homologation tests
• Vehicle deployments: Support team during vehicle deployments in multiple locations.

Position Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Experience: Product Development Engineering experience in the automotive industry, including Electric Vehicles, Bus and Autonomous Vehicles and Homologation.
• Technical Skills:
• Ability to evaluate product concepts and propose solutions.
• Knowledge of automotive vehicle engineering and assembly.
• Experience with SAV Shared Autonomous Vehicles

• • Understanding of automotive regulations, especially State Vehicle Code, FMVSS and EPA/CARB
• Independency: Self-motivator who can work independently without supervision
• Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English
• Flexibility: Travel up to 20%.
