Core Responsibilities:
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand customer requirements.
- Provides product, service, and equipment as requested
- Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales visit schedule.
- Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with the headquarters.
- Provide technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying shot-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Identifies and targets customers in automotive, architecture and technical glass industries.
- Meet annual sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement specific marketing strategies and sales process.
- Work closely with relevant departments of the headquarters.
- Develop and maintain partners.
- Manage all the sales cycle from prospecting up to installation/start-up/acceptance and invoicing.
Job Requirements:
- Related bachelor’s degree, Sales Manager Skills and Qualifications. #LI-PRI
- Product and process knowledge in the Glass industry
- Have a minimum of five years of related experience, Preferably in glass processing machinery
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Presentation skills, problem solving
- Selling to customer needs
- Verbal communication
- Requirements analysis
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Able to travel frequently
- Position will be based in Houston, TX
