Core Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for the achievement of the QCT-targets of the project launch
  • Ensures the accuracy of project progress information and deliverable maturity
  • Supports the continuous improvement and optimization of processes regarding product and process development (Process "Acquire & Quote", Process "Develop & Launch")
  • Acts as first escalation level in case of project specific issues
  • Manage internal escalations and and coordinates countermeasures
  • Breaks down QCT-targets for subprojects or coreteam members
  • Reviews and accepts deliverables
  • Defines the project requirements
  • Is responsible for the planning and controlling of the project ("WHAT" & "WHEN")
  • Ensures project status reportings, risk assessments and execution of gate reviews
  • Establishes and cultivates good customer relationships and develops customer specific know how
  • Establishes and cultivates project communications
  • Ensures compliance with internal standards, processes and procedures
  • Leads cross functional project teams and/or project leaders (project related)

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Years of working experience: Preferably 5 years of working experience
  • Years of industry experience: Preferably 3-5 years automotive experience with previous project launch success
  • Certifications: PMP certification preferred
  • Physical requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and sitting most of the time. Limited walking and standing
