Welder

  • Examines visually welding lines and evaluates assembly according to defined criteria 
  • Rewelds provided defective parts with an easily to handle device according to personal instruction (e.g. filling end crater, length of weld)
  • Conducts basic machining on parts according to defined criteria and requirements (e.g. rewelding, cleaning, burring, grinding)
  • Reworks and repairs painted and unpainted parts 
  • Might weld prototypes or aluminum parts
  • Reports malfunctions to the setter and corrects simple restraints (e.g. pushing reset button)
  • Separates and documents NOK (not ok) parts according to personal instruction 
  • Conducts examination of accessories, welding, painted surfaces, size check and other examinations according defined criteria 
  • Supports maintenance according to instruction
  • Changes and cleans basic consumables (e.g. tube batches, coils) according to personal instruction
  • Cleans equipment and the work areas on a daily basis
  • Conducts reporting (BDE) and provides other daily reports
  • Conducts basic assembly line specific shift changes (e.g. indicates defect characteristics, defect frequency, malfunctions) 

 

Qualifications:

  • 1 year or greater Tig welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven attendance success
  • Desire to achieve and grown with a dynamic company
