Are you a dedicated and analytical supply chain professional with a passion for optimizing processes and reducing costs? We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance our supply chain operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Calculate supply chain costs for new projects/products, ensuring cost efficiency and competitiveness
• Develop and implement detailed concepts along the entire value chain to optimize processes
• Map and analyze costs related to transport, containers, warehousing, and inventory capital commitment in the value stream
• Create layout plans that ensure a lean material flow within our operations
• Provide support to plants and customer lines in handling urgent planning requests effectively
• Standardize and optimize planning tools, logistics equipment, and processes, including containers, shelves, labels, internal transport vehicles, and line feeding
• Support the implementation of lean elements such as Kanban, internal milk runs, automated material handling solutions, and supermarkets in our plants
• Develop and implement the concept of material supply to the production line, line feeding, and material replenishment
• Prepare supply chain data and quotation documents for negotiations with service providers and track contract conditions (e.g., transit lead times, prices, services)
• Define standard regulations for containers and, in some cases, develop and test special containers
• Optimize packaging at Just-In-Sequence (JIS) and components plants to reduce waste and costs
• Provide support for all activities assigned by the direct supervisor

Position Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, ideally within the automotive industry
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data to make informed decisions
• Proficiency in planning and optimization tools and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed
