Position Expectations:


  • This is a 2nd shift position
  • Must be able to drive a tugger/forklift, with cart(s), safely and efficiently.
  • Perform physical tasks to include loading and unloading, stocking flow racks and tugger carts, handling of both full and empty totes.
  • Ensure FIFO is practiced for all handled material. Maintain count integrity of all containers, which hold product.
  • Properly remove and dispose of waste generated by the lines, such as plastic wrap, banding and boxes etc.
  • Leave units clean of personal debris and sweep the work area.
  • Ensure that the production flow racks are full  and stocked with parts.
  • Remove empty totes from the lines when parts are delivered.  Avoid backing up the empty return flow racks as well as build up of any empty totes on the floor.
  • Deliver the empty totes to the empty tote area.
  • Must perform the daily inspection of the tugger vehicle and turn in the form daily to the Materials Team Leader.
  • Report damage or breakdown of equipment immediately to a Team Leader or Production Unit leader.



Skill requirement:


  • Must be able to pass the written and or computer testing and pass a field driving test in order to operate the tugger.
  • Must watch the training video for safety/operation and 5S.
  • Must be able to physically and safey perform the demands of the tugger job as set fourh in the safety standards.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds from 17 inches to 47 inches in height, at a depth of 17 inches from the body.
  • Must be self-motivated and practice good time management skills.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
