Sales Manager – Automotive Industry

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence within the automotive sector. This role involves defining sales strategies, managing key client relationships, monitoring performance indicators, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation of our customer strategy within the assigned OEM
  • Managing all sales-related activities in the "Acquire & Quote" and "Develop & Launch" phases
  • Leading customer meetings and negotiations with confidence and professionalism
  • Maintaining strong, collaborative relationships across OEM teams and within our organization
  • Identifying cost optimization opportunities and supporting product cost calculations
  • Demonstrating strong understanding of BIW/Chassis metal stampings, welded assemblies, and aluminum extrusions together with associated manufacturing processes
  • Preparing accurate and timely sales planning data based on customer sourcing timing and strategy
  • Documenting projects in internal systems with a focus on data integrity
  • Acting as a trusted liaison between the OEM and internal teams to ensure program success
  • Promoting a respectful and inclusive team environment while mentoring and supporting others

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the automotive supplier industry in a Sales role
  • Proven track record of success managing OEM accounts
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with project documentation and sales systems 
  • English proficiency at advanced level
