Position for Benteler Palmela (Portugal)

Your chance

• You develop and implement cost-optimized logistics concepts for systems with sequential production (JIT/JIS) under consideration of specified customer requirements.
• You will take over the functional management of the project team and work on the implementation of the project on site in our global plants.
• You create capacity plans for personnel, transport and industrial equipment, plan the material flow, create transport and packaging concepts for the JIT plants.
• You are responsible for defining the IT interface and IT requirements to ensure production and deliveries between the customer, BENTELER and suppliers.
• You create functional specifications for logistics services.
• You are responsible for the implementation of the Supply Chain concepts in the JIT plants.
• You do the training of the new logistics employees in the plants and monitor the implementation of logistics processes for series production.
• You develop and drive measures for continuous improvement in your area of responsibility. 

Your personality 

• You have several years of experience in material and logistics planning, especially in the automotive sector (JIT/JIS).
• You have successfully completed a technical degree.
• You have already gained experience in project management of interdisciplinary and international teams
• You have a distinctive intercultural understanding, strong analytical skills as well as communication and assertiveness. 
• You have a strong willingness to travel around the world and business fluent English skills.
