Your chance:

• Is responsible for the assigned region Strategie sourcing and developing of saving roadmaps for a defined commodity and/or sub commodity
• Ensure the cost, quality and time-oriented supply with the required goods, materials, equipment’s and Services under compliance with the respective business plans,
• budgets and targets
• Provide the inputs to design the perfect sourcing footprint for the commodity / sub
• commodity, define the roadmaps and make it happen
• Support to design optimal supply base
• Participation on development, coordination and steering of purchasing strategies for assigned Commodities
• Support of proper make or buy decisions
• Support efforts concerning supply base rationalization and supplier developmentA
• Guarantee compliance with internal procedures
• Structuring and bundling of global and regional aspects within the Commodity Organization
• Improvement of all purchasing activities for the purposes of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/life-time reductions etc.

Your personality

• Commercial or technical degree and a strong proactive hands-on mindset
• Min. 2-3 years within the industry, automotive or commodity related, purchasing experience, operational and Strategie involvement
• In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices
• PC knowledge (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Controlling and cost analysis knowledge (advantage but not necessary)
• Relevant SAP knowledge and fluent English required
