  • Leads global and regional projects focused on technical learning programs
  • Establishes and maintains all aspects of university relationships associated with the program(s)
  • Evaluates candidates for particpation in the program/apprenticeship
  • Defines the project scope and approach in alignment with respective stakeholders
  • Determines timeframe, budget, procedures, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project
  • Develops concept, program, initiative
  • Develops transparent tracking system to monitor progress/impelementation of project
  • Handles obstacles and complaints and escalates appropriately
  • Acts as contact person for the works council in order to get the approval for organizational changes 
  • Contributes to the development/improvement of existing policies, standards and processes


    Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field of study
  • Extensive experience in sourcing and securing grant funding
  • 3+ years leadership experience
  • Understands the DOL apprenticeship model and how to register new apprenticeships
  • Has an understanding of finance and the creation/oversight/administration of budgets
  • Is able to leverage relationship skills to build contacts in government/educational sectors to program support
  • Knows how to develop technical training curriculum and/or has a background in facilitating technical training 
  • Is familiar with adult learning theory and has demonstrated competence in creating technical learning programs 
  • Has a strong background in performance consulting (needs assessment) and can align technical learning programs with organizational strategy 
  • Background in skilled trades/workforce development preferred
