As HOLON continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodity Buyer to join our team and contribute to the success of our autonomous shuttle vehicle projects.

Position Responsibilities

As a Commodity Buyer at HOLON, you will play a crucial role in the identification, integration, and management of partners and suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and integrating partners and suppliers for autonomous vehicle projects.
• Executing the procurement process for subsystems and components of the shuttle vehicle
• Serving as a key member of the project team and acting as the interface to the procurement market
• Preparing procurement decisions and taking Q/C/T responsibility for the procurement scope throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure process steps are driven from Purchasing active side and work with project leaders for customer approvals as necessary
• Designs, implements and continuously enhances IT-systems (conceptually) for purchasing (SAP, SRM, eSourcing etc.)
• Manages project including budget responsibility for the implementation of resource activities
• Conducts relations and partner management with all business partners and internal interfaces for relevant topics
• Supports Commodity Directors and Managers methodologically on developing/drafting supplier nominations, Rfq’s and vendor documentation
• Conducts Benchmarks – For resourcing activities outlined by Directors and Managers
• Conducts necessary tech reviews with all parties present for sign off approvals

Role Requirements

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or a related field
• SAP Experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools
• Experience and skill in negotiations, cost analysis, and project management
• Purchasing experience
• Technical understanding and supply base/market knowledge
• Excellent communication skills with a structured and independent way of working
• Flexibility for domestic and international travel

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in procurement related to the exterior and interior supply base, plastics, power distribution units and cables, body material, and wheels or tires may be given preference.
