Ready to dive into ServiceNow? We're looking for someone to join us as a ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB Specialist! You'll work closely with others to understand what's needed and then make it happen in ServiceNow. From setting up ITOM to keeping the CMDB in top shape, you'll be the go-to person. Plus, you'll get to work with a great team and learn even more about servers and networks along the way!
Your chance
- Collaboration with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB
- Design, develop and configure ITOM and CMDB including Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management
- Configure and maintain CMDB data model, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration item information
- Integration of ServiceNow with other IT Operational platforms using APIs
- Collaboration with cross-functional IT teams to define and implement ITOM and CMDB best practices, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes
- Provision of ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes or enhancements
- Collaboration with other ServiceNow developers and administrators within a virtual team
Your personality
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology or a related field
- Experience as a ServiceNow developer and with the ServiceNow platform
- Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM functions like Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management
- Proficient in ServiceNow development and configuration including workflows, business rules, UI policies and scripting
- Experience with ServiceNow integration using APIs and web services
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices related to ITOM and CMDB
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams
- Background knowledge about Server and Network architecture is a plus
- English language at least on B2 level
