Core Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes in collaboration with engineers and technical resources to meet the needs of the plant for future improvements.
• Develop detailed work scopes for vendor engagement and RFQ.
• Develop project budgets based on capital appropriations and vendor engagement.
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, and schedule changes; recommending actions.
• Control project costs by approving expenditures.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
• Develop, control, and manage multiple projects at various stages covering various technical disciplines.
• Participate in safety activities to meet or exceed organizational goals and expectations.
• Be an active participant in developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• B.S. Engineering-Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred
• Experienced in CAD.
• Knowledge of statistical data evaluation is required.
• Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology, and process.
• Strong safety awareness and experience.
• SAP knowledge preferred; Solid knowledge of MS Office is a must.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic print reading experience.
• Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Seamless Pipe Mill Experience a huge plus!
• Experienced in CAD.
• Knowledge of statistical data evaluation is required.
