Your chance
- Creates and realizes cost-optimized logistics concepts for plants with sequenced production (JIT/JIS) under consideration of specified customer requirements
- Designs capacity plans for personnel, transportation and industrial carriers (e.g. fork lifts)
- Plans the material flow and layouts for J-I-T assembly plants
- Responsible for transport and packaging concepts for J-I-T assembly plants
- Verifies and approves logistics costs for packaging and transportation
- Defines IT interfaces and requirements between customers and BENTELER for sequenced production and delivery
- Generates requirement specifications for logistics services
- Calculates and evaluates offers for logistics services in alignment with purchasing and logistics
- Supervises and monitors the logistics service providers during the project phase
- Realizes the planning concepts in the assembly plants
- Trains and supervises the logistic personnel in JIT plants regarding the execution of the serial production
- Monitors warehouse stock of assembly plants
- Contributes to the continuous improvement within the area of responsibility
Your personality
- Completed commercial training or completed studies, preferably in the field of logistics or comparable
- Relevant professional experience in the automotive industry
- Sound knowledge of SAP, very good user knowledge of Excel
- Intercultural competence, very good written and spoken English and willingness to travel
