Your tasks

• Establishment & leadership of the Homologation Team
• Definition of a comprehensive whole vehicle homologation strategy
• Management of homologation & certification projects for US & EU (vehicle level)
• Planning & coordination of all necessary activities for type testing & approval with internal & external stakeholders, organizations & committees
• Participation in committees & regulatory committee events to identify regulatory requirements relating to AD
• Incorporation of the type approval requirements into the vehicle specifications
• Budget & timing responsibility

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Several years of professional experience within an automotive OEM, tier-1 supplier or engineering service provider, focusing on homologation of autonomous vehicles
• Knowledge of approval criteria, type testing and legal requirements, especially for autonomous vehicles
• Openness to travel (primary focus: Europe, US)
• Demonstrated ability to handle time-critical situations
• Leadership experience, intercultural competence, ability to work in a team & assertiveness
• Very good knowledge of German & English, both written & spoken
